一、教学目标与要求
A 知识目标:Learn about the names of animals, describe the features of animals
Tell everyone what animal you like or not and why not.
B 能力目标:学会用英语与他人谈论动物园中动物名及其个性特征,并表达自己喜欢与不喜欢的理由,以达到进一步提高听力能力和语言表达能力。
C 情感目标:通过师生双边活动中主动性和创造性的发挥,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,了解动物世界,爱护动物,体现知识与生活的相互依存,更多地关爱我们的家园——地球。

The first lesson
教学目标:
1、 Learn the names of animals
2、 Learn to describe the animals
Teaching Steps:
Step 1:Leading in the new lesson
Teacher::Boys and girls, do you like animals? Do you have and pets at home? Let’s talk about animals today OK?
Show the animals’ pictures
(Do more reading according to the pictures)
Step 2 :Match (1a)
Do this exercise in order to read and learn the words and use the important sentence “Let’s see the pandas…first”

A:Let’s see the lions (Explain :see = look at)
B:Why do you want to see the lions?
(Explain:Why 是特殊疑问副词“为什么?”它引导的疑问句是特殊疑问句,是对原因进行提问的,用Because 引导的句子来回答,意思是“因为……”)
